The Tulain Lake Trek is a beautiful trekking destination located in the Kashmir Valley of India. The trek starts from the town of Pahalgam and takes you through scenic forests, meadows, and glacier-fed streams, offering stunning views of the snow-capped peaks and the beautiful Tulain Lake.
The trek covers a distance of approximately 20 kilometers over a period of 3 days, with the highest point of the trek being the Tulain Pass at an altitude of 13,500 feet. The major highlights of the trek include the beautiful Tulain Lake, which is surrounded by lush green forests and snow-capped mountains, and the challenging climb up to the Tulain Pass, which rewards trekkers with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
The trek is considered moderately difficult, with steep climbs and descents along the way. It is suitable for experienced trekkers, as well as those who are new to high-altitude trekking. The best time to undertake the Tulain Lake Trek is from June to September when the weather is clear and the skies are usually blue.
Drive from Srinagar TRC to Baisaran, Pahalgam and trek to Kani Marg and camp there.
The second day will start with a trek from Kani Marg to Tulain Lake where you can have the look at the entire Pahalgam. We will retire here for the night.
On day three we head back to Pahalgam and drive back home where on our cozy beds we dream of yet another trek/ activity with Alp Savy.
